REFUND POLICY

At Drive Smart Academy, we aim to provide high-quality driving instruction and excellent customer service. Please review our refund policy below before booking.

 

1. Rescheduling Policy

 

Lessons may be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.

 

Rescheduling within 24 hours is considered late and subject to a $50 fee.

 

 

2. Instructor Cancellation

 

If a lesson is cancelled by Drive Smart Academy or the assigned instructor the student will have the option to:

 

Reschedule the lesson at no charge, or

 

Request a full refund for the missed session

 

 

3. Free Lesson Cancellation Policy (Retry Policy)

Complimentary lessons require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson or failure to attend will result in forfeiture of the free lesson.

If the student wishes to reschedule a forfeited complimentary lesson, a $50 rebooking fee will be required.

4.  Refund Eligibility

 

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

 

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson are eligible for a full refund.

 

If a customer purchases a lesson package and chooses not to complete all lessons, they may request a refund for the unused portion.

If a lesson is cancelled by Drive Smart Academy or the assigned instructor the scheduled lesson is eligible for a full refund.

 

Refunds are processed to the original form of payment.

Refunds will not be issued for:

 

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled lesson.

 

No-shows (student fails to show up for a scheduled lesson).

 

Failure to complete lessons or packages within 1 year of purchase (unless otherwise agreed in writing).

 

Lessons forfeited due to misconduct, unsafe behavior, or violation of student eligibility requirements (e.g., not having a valid learner’s permit)​.

 

 

5. Requesting a Refund

 

To request a refund, please contact us at info@drivesmartsd.com with your:

 

Full name

 

Date of purchase

 

Reason for request

 

Last scheduled lesson (if applicable)

 

 

Refunds will be reviewed and processed within 7–10 business days.
